About Us
The Story
I am the owner of a systems integration company in Los Angeles. Installing motorized window shades is a large part of our business and these days most of our shades are being installed in shade pockets. This used to require multiple site meetings with contractors to explain in great detail of how the framing had to be done. Often times framers had to come back for pocket header adjustments because of rough lumber imperfections and other miscommunication that led to frustrations and loss of revenue. After talking to a number of other dealers, I found that a lot of my peers experience the same issues with pocket installations and I thought there has to be a better way.
With these brackets, my guys now install a 16 foot shade pocket in minutes including bracket mounting, it’s as easy as installing a speaker ring. We don’t need a pocket support header anymore & the warped pocket issue causing the closer plates not to fit is now a thing of the past.
We tell the framer to leave a 6” wide gap in front of every window/slider for single rollers and often times we just have the architect specify that on the plans.
Convincing builders to install our pockets can be a challenge I found, now we don’t have to anymore.
